Personal Enrichment

Universities and employers look for a range of personal skills and attitudes in addition to your academic grades. We run a number of leadership awards some carry UCAS points equivalent to a 'D' grade at A/S level, a volunteering programme is run at the school and we encourage all our students to get involved in either a Sports, Literacy, Art, Maths or Health leadership programme. It is great for your future CV and for confidence building.

PE is compulsory on Wednesday period 5 as a healthy body supports a Healthy Mind. We offer a range of activities off site at the Oval.

Students can use the fitness suite, fitness rooms, squash and badminton courts. There are also extra curricular teams for football and netball.

We offer study support from outside providers such as Aim Higher and our partner universities.

Social events are also a part of sixth form life, such as Christmas meals, fun trips, The Leavers Prom plus more.
