Pastoral Support and Every Child Matters

Within our School, we aim to create a harmonious and industrious environment which supports students in fulfilling their academic potential. The progress, happiness and well-being of our students are of paramount importance. Considerable emphasis is placed on the provision of pastoral support. A full time Year Manager is responsible for each year group to provide support and guidance, based on a firm foundation of mutual respect and tolerance. The school has a comprehensive system of rewards and sanctions which help to meet these aims. Every Year Group has its own Council, with each year electing representatives to the School Council, thus providing students with a voice in school affairs. Our Home School Agreement affirms our commitment to providing a quality education for all of our students.

Our Learning Environment

We want to provide the best environment for our students to be educated, so we have a varied range of opportunities and learning experiences available, state of the art ICT facilities and a wide range of specialist teaching facilities. We offer all of our students the chance to take part in a wide range of extra curricular activities from outdoor educational trips, experiences, sporting tournaments, field courses and universities.
