Asia Day

Aiming to help the next generation gain a greater understanding of Asia and its various cultures, Bebington High Sports College recently ran a host of workshops with an Asian focus.

All Year 7 students were divided into several groups for the activity-packed programme and were offered a range of different experiences as part of the schools ‘Respect, Engage, Achieve, Literacy’ programme. Chinese character writing, Thai chi, Yoga, Meditation, Lantern making & Asian geography lessons helped the students discover the diversity of Asia.

Learning about the Asian culture and languages is an important skill for future generations as the continent is becoming more and more influential in the world and our students embraced this experience with great enthusiasm.
